The easiest way to get to AT&T Stadium on game day is to let someone else drive: get dropped close, skip the parking lot, and walk out to a ride that is already waiting at a spot you agreed on before kickoff. There is no train to the stadium, so every fan arrives by car, and how you handle that car decides how your day goes.
This is the plan our dispatchers walk groups through before Cowboys games, the Thanksgiving Day game, December’s big college games and stadium concerts: your options, when to leave, how the pickup works and which vehicle fits your crew.
01How do you get to AT&T Stadium without a train?
AT&T Stadium sits in the Arlington Entertainment District, halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth, with Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, Texas Live! and Six Flags Over Texas as neighbors. Arlington is not on the DART light rail network, so there is no train station at the stadium. That leaves three real choices:
You control the timing on the way in. On the way out, you walk back to the lot and join the slow crawl out with everyone else.
Fine for two people on a quiet night. After a big game the pickup areas get crowded and prices often jump while everyone requests a car at once.
One vehicle for the whole group. Drop-off close to the stadium, nobody stuck as the driver, and a ride waiting after the final whistle.
Plenty of visitors book a hotel downtown thinking the stadium is next door. It is about 20 miles west of downtown Dallas, so plan the ride before you plan the tailgate.
02When should you leave for a Cowboys game?
Earlier than you think. On game days, traffic on I-30, SH-360 and Collins Street builds hours before kickoff, and the same roads empty slowly afterward. Leaving early also gives your group time to eat, walk the plaza and get through the gates without a sprint.
- Pickup
Your chauffeur picks up the group at home, a hotel or the office, anywhere in DFW.
- Texas Live!
Drop-off for lunch and the pregame crowd, a short walk from the stadium.
- Walk to the stadium
Plenty of time for security, the pro shop and your seats.
- Kickoff
Your chauffeur is parked and staged nearby. Nobody watches the clock for parking.
- Final whistle
Text your chauffeur as you head for the exit.
- Meet at the pickup point
Walk to the agreed spot, load up and ride home together.

03How does the pickup work after the game?
The hard part of any stadium trip is the last hour. Here is how a TIED game-day ride handles it:
- 1Book the basics
Date, kickoff time, headcount and pickup address. Add any stops before or after.
- 2Set the plan
Your dispatcher sets the pickup time and any stops at Texas Live! or a restaurant.
- 3Confirm the spot
Drop-off and pickup rules at AT&T Stadium change by event. Your chauffeur checks the current guidance and confirms the exact spot with you before the day.
- 4Ride together
Everyone in one vehicle: no convoy, no one stuck driving.
- 5Text when you walk out
Your chauffeur stages nearby during the game and meets you at the agreed point.
A chauffeur skips the parking lot, the parking fee and the long walk. Post-game traffic still applies, but nobody in your group has to sit behind the wheel for it.
“This was the best ride experience to and from AT&T stadium! Erica was our driver, and made sure our group was comfortable and having fun, and drove us to and from a concert at AT&T stadium. She dropped us off and picked us up close to the stadium which was so convenient. 10/10 recommend!”
04Which vehicle fits your group?
Start with the number of people riding. Then decide how you want the day to feel: a quiet black SUV with clients, a Sprinter with room to stretch out, or a party bus where the pregame starts the moment the door closes.

A black SUV or Escalade ESV. Couples, families and client tickets.
An Executive Sprinter (up to 10) or a Limo Sprinter (up to 14). Friend groups and small office outings.
A party bus (20–25). Birthday crews, fantasy leagues and big friend groups.
A mini bus (27–31) or a motorcoach (up to 56). Company suites, churches and clubs.
Send your date and headcount. A dispatcher calls back within 30 minutes.
05What about Thanksgiving, bowl games and concerts?
Some days at AT&T Stadium are bigger than a regular Sunday, and they book up first.
The Cowboys host a game every Thanksgiving. Families want the ride so nobody has to choose between the game and the turkey.
The Big 12 Championship and the Cotton Bowl Classic are played in Arlington, with fans coming in from out of town.
The biggest tours play AT&T Stadium. Concert crowds leave all at once, which is when a waiting ride matters most.
The same plan works for Rangers games, Texas Live! nights and Six Flags.

06What should you check before game day?
Stadium policies change from season to season and sometimes from event to event, so check AT&T Stadium’s official site before you go instead of relying on last year’s rules.
Bag size rules and what you can bring in are set by the stadium. Check them the week of the game.
Most tickets are mobile now. Make sure everyone has theirs loaded before the ride, not at the gate.
Lot rules for tailgating belong to the stadium and the lot operator. If a tailgate is part of the plan, check the current rules first.
07Your game-day ride checklist
Tick these off as you go. Your progress is saved on this device, and you can copy or email the list to the group chat.

Book hourly and add stops: brunch before, Texas Live! after, or a hotel drop for the out-of-town crew.
Whether it is four of you in a black SUV or the whole office on a coach, the plan is the same: book early, count your riders, agree on a pickup point and let someone else drive. See vehicles and options on our AT&T Stadium transportation page, or read about our concert transportation for the big stadium shows.
